Our Mission

Here, every step you take not only leads you to breathtaking views but also supports a greater cause. Our mission is to aid the Khumbu region of Nepal by easing the challenges of poverty, time, and strenuous trekking, through impactful projects driven by the dedicated local Sherpa community.

How We Support Our Mission

Hike for Help Club hosts regular group hikes where we get to use our time in the great outdoors to create a strong community here at CU Boulder.

We get the amazing opportunities to immerse ourselves in Nepalese culture through engaging group activities hosted by guest speakers and some of our local Sherpas.

Each year, our hiking club embarks on an unforgettable journey through the Himalayan mountains. Students hike alongside local Sherpas, assist villages by providing resources we've collected throughout the year, and conquer the challenge of reaching Everest Base Camp.
